How to brew Bai Mu Dan:
Chinese method (gongfu cha):
- Take 5 g of tea per 100–120 ml of gaiwan or teapot.
- Fill with water at a temperature of 80–85°C.
- The first flush is 5 seconds, the next ones gradually increase to 30 seconds.
- Can be brewed up to 6–8 times.
European method:
- Take 3–4 g of tea per 250 ml of water.
- Water temperature is 80–85°C.
- Insist for 3–5 minutes.
- Can be brewed 2–3 times.
