Black tea Kenya Michi
Kenya Michi Black Tea is a rich high mountain tea with a ruby infusion, cocoa aroma and deep taste. The true energy of Africa in your cup.
Kenya Michi is a high-quality black tea from bushes grown in the highlands of Central Kenya, where ideal climatic conditions ensure a rich aroma and depth of flavor. The tea has large leaves and a dense infusion structure with a ruby hue and persistent astringency. This is one of the best representatives of Kenyan tea for connoisseurs of deep, expressive flavors.
The taste is powerful, velvety, with a light hint of cocoa. The aroma is warm, with hints of dried fruit. It tastes perfect with milk, but it also tastes great on its own.
The history of Kenyan teas
Although Kenya is not the birthplace of tea, it has become one of the largest tea producers in the world. The first tea bushes in Kenya were planted by British colonizers in 1903, and the country entered commercial production in the 1930s. A feature of Kenyan tea is that it is grown at an altitude of over 1800 m, which gives the leaves strength and the infusion a deep, rich color. Today, Kenyan tea is the pride of the African continent, exported to over 40 countries.
