Shen Pu'er "Menghai Qi Zi Bing Cha" (云南勐海七子饼茶) is an aged green pu'er of the 2009 harvest, produced at the Kunming Hechangxuan Tea Industry Co., Ltd. factory in the classic format "Seven Sons" (七子饼茶), which means a standard pancake weighing 357 g. The raw materials are collected in one of the most famous terroirs of Yunnan - Menghai.
This Pu-erh has been naturally aged for over 15 years, giving it a rounded, deep and mellow taste, with a pleasant minerality and natural sweetness. It is perfect for both daily tea drinking and as a collector's item.
The infusion is amber, transparent. The taste is deep, with notes of bark, wild grass, stone, light smokiness and honey. The aftertaste is long, warm, slightly tart, with a calm finish. The aroma is soft, woody-mineral with a camphor tone.

How to brew "Menghai Qi Zi Bing Cha":
Gongfu method:
- 5–6 g per 100 ml of gaiwan
- Rinse with the first flush (2–3 seconds)
- Brew at 90–95°C
- Short pours 10–15 seconds, up to 10–12 brews
European method:
- 1 hour l. for 300–350 ml of water
- Infuse for 3–4 minutes at 90–95°C
- Can be brewed 2–3 times
