Song Zhen Hong Cha (松针红茶), known as Pine Needle Red Tea, is a refined variety from Yunnan Province, named for the unusual shape of the tea leaf - long, thin, resembling a pine needle. The tea is made from young leaves with plenty of golden tips and undergoes a delicate fermentation process that preserves its deep yet smooth character.
The drink has a noble malty taste with notes of hazelnuts, caramel, light cocoa and woody nuances. The aroma is warm, slightly spicy, with hints of autumn forest. The infusion is bright amber, transparent, with a soft velvety texture.

European method:
- 1–2 tsp per 300–400 ml of water at a temperature of 90–95°C

Chinese method (gongfu cha):
- 4–5 g per 100 ml in a gaiwan or teapot
- Rinse with hot water (2–3 seconds)
- Brew at 90–95°C for 10–20 seconds
- Enjoy 5–7 spills
