Uva Showlands Tea is a premium black tea from the mountainous Uva region in eastern Sri Lanka. The altitude, constant winds and cool climate give this tea its unique character: rich, deep, with a pronounced tartness and pleasant freshness. It is one of the most valuable Ceylon teas.
The infusion has a deep amber color. The taste is dense, tart, with notes of dried fruits, honey and light mint in the background. The aroma is expressive, spicy and herbal. Ideal for a classic English tea party.
