Mate Lemon
Mate Lemon is an energy tea made from green mate with lemon, sunflower and lemongrass petals. It has a fresh citrus flavor, tones and energizes naturally.

The taste is herbal with pronounced notes of lemon, refreshing and balanced. The aroma is delicate, citrus-floral. The infusion is light green with a yellow tint.

The origin of mate
Mate originates from South America, where it was traditionally consumed by the Guarani Indians. After colonization, it was popularized by the Jesuits and the Portuguese, and later the drink reached Europe. Today, mate is a modern coffee substitute with a deep tradition.
How to brew
- Classic: 1–2 tsp per 250 ml of water (temperature 70–80°C), let steep for 3–5 minutes
- In a calabash: fill to ⅔ of the volume, pour in water at 70–75°C, drink through a bombilla
- Suitable for cold mate (terere)
