How to brew briquetted Shu Pu'er:
Gongfu method:
- Break off 5–6 g from the briquette
- Rinse with hot water (2–3 seconds)
- Brew at a temperature of 95–100°C, in short bursts of 10–20 seconds.
- Up to 10–12 brews
European method:
- 1 tsp per 350 ml
- Infuse for 3–5 min at 95°C
- Re-brew 2–3 times
