The Story of Cha Gao — “Tea in a Drop”

Cha Gao (茶膏) first appears in historical chronicles during the Tang Dynasty (7th–10th centuries), and was especially actively used in the Qing Dynasty, when it was considered an elite "liquid tea" for the imperial court. The resin was prepared in the form of a concentrate, which was convenient to transport, store and dissolve - both by the military and higher ranks. Nowadays, Cha Gao is a return to the origins, but in a modern, compact and practical form.

The taste is deep, soft, rich, without bitterness. The aroma is earthy, slightly malty. The drink quickly soothes, warms, and is great for starting the day or after a heavy meal.

How to brew Cha Gao resin:

1. Take 1 layer (0.5 g) per 150–200 ml of hot water
2. Water temperature — 95–100°C
3. Dissolve in 1–2 minutes, stirring with a spoon
4. Can be added to other teas or reused (1 time)
