The production of this variety is a long, complex, laborious process.
Tea buds and leaves are harvested in spring, early April, during the heavy rains, so the leaves are very thin and long. During processing, they are twisted by hand in the form of small balls. Dry and store in a cool place until the elegant jasmine flowers bloom. The final stage of its production is the aromatization of tea raw materials with jasmine flowers. To do this, at night or early in the morning, while the flowers are still closed, the jasmine is harvested and then stored in a cool place during the day. Evening comes and the real magic begins - jasmine opens with a clapping sound. This is the moment growers are waiting for to mix flowers with tea leaves. After about 5 hours, the flowers are removed, and the raw material is thoroughly dried for 4-5 days.
In total, production takes about a month.
For 1 kg of tea, 4 kg of jasmine flowers are used.
