Hong Ta Tie Tea is a refined red tea from China, made from the Dian Hong variety. It is made using a tender bud and two leaves picked in early spring in the tea gardens of Xishuangbanna. After processing and heating over a fire (hong pei), the tea is hand-tied into miniature pyramids that open when brewed, giving it a rich, sweet, honeyed flavor with fruity notes.

The taste is deep, sweet, fruity-honey. The aroma is warm, rich, caramel-honey. The infusion is bright amber, transparent.

The name "Hong Ta" translates as "Red Pagoda" - due to the shape of the pyramids, reminiscent of pagodas. For production, high-quality raw materials are used - spring tea buds from Yunnan province. This is a rare tea that combines the skill of processing red tea and the art of tying leaves.
