Hong Yu (紅玉, Red Ruby Tea) is a premium red tea from central Taiwan, named for its deep ruby infusion and vibrant flavor. It is made from Cultivar No. 18, a unique hybrid between Assam and wild Taiwanese teas.
The taste of the tea is extremely characteristic and memorable from the first sip: spicy-minty, with notes of cinnamon, eucalyptus, nutmeg and caramel. Such a bouquet creates the impression of freshness and warmth at the same time. The infusion is rich red, clean, the aroma is expressive, noble, slightly coniferous.

- Rinse with hot water (2–3 seconds)
- Brew at 90–95°C for 10–20 seconds
