Adawatta black tea
Adawatta — premium Ceylon black tea from the Kandy mountains. Rich taste, amber infusion and natural aroma. Buy with delivery — MY TEA store.
Adawatta is a high-quality Ceylon black tea grown at an altitude of over 1000 meters above sea level in central Sri Lanka. The mountain climate allows the tea leaves to develop more slowly, accumulating more aroma, tenderness and depth of flavor.
The taste is rich, rounded, with a slight tartness and pleasant floral-honey shades. The aroma is deep, slightly spicy. The infusion is amber-ruby, transparent, with a warm golden hue.
Origin of Adawatta tea
The Adawatta Tea Factory is located in the Kandy region, one of the historical centers of Ceylon tea production. It is here that exquisite mid-mountain teas are born, which are valued worldwide for their harmonious taste and delicate aroma. The production of Adawatta tea is based on classic processing without the use of flavorings or accelerators.
