Shu Puerh “Chi Zi Bing Cha” 中宏印 is a 357-gram aged dark tea pancake made in 2010 using classical technology. The name “Chi Zi Bing Cha” (七子饼茶) translates as “tea in a seven-son pancake” — it is a traditional form of puerh, referring to the practice of packing 7 pancakes in a bamboo tube (ton).
This Shu Pu'er is an aged pancake with the classic taste of the Menghai School. Made at the Zhong Hong factory, it retains its deep earthy-woody character and the softness prized in the Gongting grading. The tea has a dense infusion, a pleasant aroma of damp undergrowth, and a gentle sweet aftertaste.
