Shu Puerh "Old Comrade" 7578 is a legendary 357-gram pancake made according to the traditional 7578 recipe at the famous Haiwan Tea Factory in Yunnan Province. This recipe is a legacy of the great Da Yi tea school, adapted and developed under the guidance of Zou Bing Liang, the founder of Haiwan Tea Factory and creator of the "Old Comrade" series.
Formula 7578 means: the first two digits are the year the recipe was created (1975), the third is the quality of the raw materials, the fourth is the factory code. This is a classic ordinary Shu Pu'er, balanced and reliable, created for daily tea drinking. The taste is rich, with earthy and woody notes, without bitterness, with a long warm aftertaste.
