Qimung Red Tea (or Qimen Hongcha) is one of the most famous Chinese red teas, grown in the Qimen region of Anhui Province. How to brew Kimun tea?

European method:

1. Pour boiling water over the kettle.
2. Pour 300–400 ml of water at a temperature of 90–95°C.
3. Take 1–2 teaspoons, steep for 2–3 minutes.
4. Can be brewed 2–3 times.

Chinese method (gongfu cha):

1. Take a gaiwan or small teapot, 4–5 g per 100 ml.
2. Rinse with hot water (quick flush for 2–3 seconds).
3. Brew at 90–95°C in short bursts (10–20 seconds).
4. Enjoy 4–6 spills.
