Description
White Tea Long Leaf White Gold gets its name from the fine white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant. These young shoots are only available for a very short period each year, making this tea the rarest and most valuable variety.
Since this is white tea, its peculiarity is in the processing of tea leaves, or rather, in minimal processing. It is carefully collected and simply dried in a natural way. Therefore, like all white teas, it retains the maximum amount of nutrients and trace elements, for which white teas are valued.
After gentle processing, the tea buds remain light and fluffy, and the leaves darken, acquiring brown shades. The only drawback of white tea is that it does not like transportation and pouring, all because of those same tea buds with a delicate nap.
Silver needle jasmine pair combines the excellent Long Leaf White Gold tea with the wonderful aroma and taste of fresh jasmine flowers. The tea buds are harvested in April and then kept on hold until August when it is covered in jasmine flowers for 5 nights. The result is a wonderful balance between the sweetness of white tea and the aromatic floral notes of jasmine.
To make 1 kg of ready-made jasmine silver tea, 3.5 kg of fresh tea leaves and 6 kg of jasmine flowers are required.
