Shu Puer Old Comrade

Shu Puerh "Old Comrade" 2006 is a 357g aged pancake from the famous Haiwan factory. This tea was created under the personal supervision of Zou Bing Liang, the legendary master and founder of Haiwan, former technical director of Tae Tea (Da Yi) factory. The pancake bears his signature, confirming the uniqueness of the batch.

This aged Shu Pu'er has a deep, rounded, dark chocolate flavor with notes of wet wood, bark, old library and dried fruit. The infusion is dark amber, dense, with a velvety texture. The tea retains its aroma for a long time, easily withstands many brewings, revealing new facets of taste with each pouring.

Who is Zou Bing Liang?

Zou Bing Liang is one of the most famous pu-erh masters. He led the team at Da Yi Factory in the 1970s that developed the fermentation technology for Shu Pu-erh. Later, when he founded Haiwan Factory, he continued the tradition of producing high-quality pu-erh and created the "Old Comrade" and "Seven Sons" series.
